Hi. I'm Allie Pape, a San Francisco-based writer and editor.
I'm currently the associate managing editor at Hoodline, a San Francisco neighborhood news site. Prior to that, I was the editor and lead writer at Eater SF, a restaurant and bar news site. I'm also a TV recapper at Vulture, where I currently cover Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
I provide a range of writing services to companies. My clients have included thredUP, Box, Zendesk, Lithium Technologies, Ask.com, Equilar, ShopWell, Replicon, BridgerConway, SunGard Investments, Spencer Gifts, and more. Whether it's writing intuitive press releases and site copy, creating compelling e-mails and blog posts, or editing existing content to make it shine, I can provide fast, reliable service.
As a journalist, I've covered food, beer, spirits and cocktails, books and authors, and local events. I've written for 7x7, SFist, Oakland magazine, Paper, San Francisco Cottages & Gardens, Where magazine, The Hairpin, DailyCandy, The Bold Italic, Citysearch, and Scoutmob SF. I received my B.A. from Harvard, where I studied Comparative Literature.
Take a look around to see what I've done, and contact me if you're interested in learning more about working together.
