As a freelancer, I assisted Ask.com's marketing department with two important programs:
1. The writing of their daily "Question of the Day" trivia promotion, which appears front and center on the homepage and has tens of thousands of fans on Facebook. The Question of the Day archive can be found here. I wrote the majority of the questions from March 2010 to June 2011.
2. The launch of the Community component of Ask's site, which encourages users to ask questions of other users and help to answer those questions. I crafted copy for promotional advertisements, landing pages, banner ads, and the Ask iPhone app. Here are some samples of my work:
